Every once in while, I catch myself staring at these sweet faces in complete amazement that God gave them to me…to ME! Crazy, messy, imperfect me. What amazing miracles they are. I simply can’t get enough of them…or give enough to them.

The world will tell you that fairy tales don’t happen…my heart knows they do. Sometimes I wonder when I will wake up from this truly amazing, breathtaking dream called “my life”. I am undeserving and under-qualified, and yet God has still blessed me with more than I ever could have imagined. Thankfulness has overwhelmed me.

It really just doesn’t get better than this….

For Halloween this year we took the kids to our church’s Harvest Festival. Hannah was a “Care Bear” and Eli was a “Giraffe”. As for Patrick and I….well we just ate all their candy!…One of the many perks of having children.

He really was the SWEETEST Giraffe I ever saw…
